Writing Process Blog Tour

I've been tagged by Carmen Stefanescu to participate in this blog tour, thank you for involving me in this tour. Do visit her blog and see what else she's working on.

What am I working on?

I have a couple of projects on the go, but concentrating on finishing "Rose of Crimson". It's a prequel to my debut novel "Bonded by Crimson" and I'm only about three chapters from writing THE END. It's been in making for at least three years now and got put on the back burner while I worked on other works in progress. During this time I've published two full length novels (Treasured Chest- released by Black Opal Books & Love Remains - released by Crimson Romance) and a Christmas novella (Deck the Halls - released by Tirgearr Publishing).

2) How does my work differ from others of its genre?

"Rose of Crimson" is a resurrection of an old Croatian legend, a forbidden love ending in double tragedy. With both lovers dead, eventually their families ceased to exist. The story is often referred to as Croatian Romeo and Juliet.
I believe the way I'm presenting flashbacks into the hero's 300 year old past differs from other works of similar genre where authors often shift timeline by switching from chapter to chapter, going from present to past. In my story I wanted to do this differently, the hero can project these images to the heroine through their special bond and she is able to see it and relive the emotions through his eyes.

3) Why do I write what I do?

I love romance and this story always fascinated me. I often found myself wondering what would their life be like have they been free to love each other. It's a real mystery to me how the rest of the plot played out in my head. It all just came to me one day and I had to write it down.

4) How does my writing process work?

I write from the seat of my pants, hence panster expression. Often I do outline the story, but never seem to refer back to the outline since the plot changes over the writing process and I can't tell what will the characters come up with next.
