A Good Ole Sexy Time ~ @MySexySaturday #MySexySaturday #Saturday7 #MSSAuthors

Welcome to the 96th week of My Sexy Saturday.

This week’s theme is A Good Ole Sexy Time and think about things like the Dukes of Hazard or maybe Nashville or the Appalachian Mountains. This week is about…well…normal people. You know, the boys next door, the good ole boys, the boys of summer and everything in between. There is nothing more sexy than a man at the beach or getting done with his chores or doing his best at any task.

From "Rose of Crimson"

She winced at the sharp pain caused by her chewed nail and yanked her hand out of her pocket.
“Don’t worry, there’s nothing breaded and deep fried in here.” He ceased pulling the takeout containers out of the bag and grabbed her wrist. “You are bleeding.” His voice reflected a hint of concern as he got on his feet, moving closer. “Let me take care of this.”
The way his hand gripped her wrist, she didn’t have a choice but to follow him to the bathroom. Will he lick her wound?
Opening the faucet, he shoved her hand under the cold water. “Did you do this to yourself?”
“Ouch, my finger stings.” Her instinct urged her to pull her hand out of his. Instead she flipped the light switch on when he tightened his hold. “You want to play a doctor now?”
He grinned not taking his glance from her finger under running water. “I’m not playing. I’ve been a doctor for centuries.”
“I thought Miles had not lived long enough to complete any schooling.” As soon as she spoke those words, she regretted them. He was here in body and soul, so he could have become a doctor during his very long life.
He shut off the water and pulled the towel from the rack. “You’re right, Miles’ life was cut short,” he said. He patted her hand and opened the medicine cabinet above the sink. “Do you have bandages?”
“There should be a box.” With the door in between them, and mirror facing her, she cringed at her reddened face. Though she’d probably never get used to him hearing her thoughts, it was nice to have company. Okay so he wasn’t a ghost or a vampire, but he was a man and his musky scent sent heat spreading through her.

“Good, you have antiseptic cream. This should do.” He spread the white ointment, dressed the wound. “Stop biting your nails. It’s a nervous habit.”
“Will do, doc.” She gave him a mocking grin.
“So, are you hungry?”
“In a little while. Hope you can hold off.” With any luck he didn’t hear her stomach rumble, but she couldn’t eat just yet. He was right, her nerves needed to calm a bit more.
He took his seat at the table. “Then let us continue with the story.”
She sat facing him, and extended her hands to him. “Shall we hold the connection again?”
A tiny smile stretched his lips as he stared at her in silence. He must have read her mind again. She was the one who itched to hold hands with him and it seemed he wanted the same. With his wrists resting on the table, he twitched his eyebrows in invitation to place her hands in his. Warmth flooded her when his fingers brushed hers. What would it be like if he was to touch all of her—oh, she better not think of that.
“Concentrate.” His soft tone ensured that he had heard her last thought.
She closed her eyes and the vision began to play in an instant. Perhaps it was her eagerness to continue with the story so getting into the mind trip had not taken as long as the first time. He lay face down on the pebble beach. “You were so young!”
His fingers fumbled. “Pay attention to my thoughts, not my looks.”
