Late Summer Sexy ~ @MySexySaturday #MySexySaturday #MSSAuthors #Saturday7 #MSS104

Welcome to the 104th week of My Sexy Saturday.

This week’s theme: Late Summer Sexy

Think of the last days on the beach or an island or in the mountains. You know, the end of summer is coming. Or in another words "the winter is coming".

But there are still plenty of lazy, hazy summer days left. So why not spend them with a great book in your hands.

EXCERPT
The late summer breeze shoved small waves toward the shore. Seated on the beach, Kate reveled in the smell of pine and the soft chirping of the cicadas. The sight of her boys cooperating in the building of a sand castle while she instructed them from the deep shade sent a hint of guilt through her.
Matthias had forbidden her from staying in the sun for too long. He was right, though. The dizziness spun her head after a few minutes, despite the wide brimmed hat. The pain killers
she was prescribed turned her into a real zombie and she’d rather listen to her doctor’s orders so she didn’t need the pills.
One of Doctor Leone’s recommendations was to have sex and lots of it. Apparently, releasing the Oxycontin during climax rejuvenated the brain cells and helped in healing. Matthias was
happy to oblige and, two weeks later, aside from dizziness when staying out in the sun too long, she hardly suffered from any symptoms of her concussion.
Still, sadness nibbled at her mind. They would leave this enchanted islet next week. But, the summer had come to an end. She’d have to take the boys shopping for back to school as soon as they returned. At least they’d be in the same classroom and she wouldn’t need to meet with three different teachers.
The rustling in the bush drew her attention. Matthias approached, digital camera in his hands, and crouched in front of her. “Well, the police officers agree with me. The hole was
dug by someone on purpose. I took more pictures.”
She caressed his handsome face. “The hole is becoming your obsession. Just let it go.”
“I can’t. There are shovel markings in the soil and on the rocks. I intend to find out who did this and why.”
With both her hands cupping his cheeks, she tilted his head down so their eyes met. “How are you going to find out? Why would anyone go through the trouble of digging it?”
“Too many unanswered questions.” He raised his finger. “But once I find who did it, let God help him.”
She shot him a stern glance. “Matthias, promise you won’t do anything rash. I don’t want any trouble with the law.”
“Don’t worry.” He took her hand in his, reassuring her with a smile. “I won’t do what you are thinking.”
She grabbed onto the brim of her hat as a gust of wind threatened to blow the sombrero off her head. “What am I thinking?”
He exhaled loudly. “I can read your thoughts loud and clear. You are afraid I’ll kill the person, but you’re wrong. I’ll turn him into the police.”
“We’re leaving in a week’s time. The trail will go cold.” She stood, adjusting her bikini top. “In the meantime, I want to grab as many swims in the Adriatic as I can and put the incident behind me.”
He glanced at the boys, immersed in their sand play. “We should sneak down here tonight and give another healing boost to your brain cells.”
“Doctor’s orders? I can hardly wait.”
Maybe it was the head injury, but she hadn’t heard the sad, longing piano melody since her accident. Or could it be Emina had crossed over and had taken the sweet sounds with her?
Cool water surrounded her, reaching as high as her knees. She splashed some at Matthias. He groaned and sprang onto his feet. Scrambling out of his black t-shirt, he took two steps to
her and scooped her into his arms. His mouth seized hers. Their tongues collided in a demanding union. A moan escaped her as he pulled on the string, releasing her breasts from the constraints of her bikini top.
“Hey, not in front of the kids,” Fortuno hissed, his words shattering the lustful moment.
Kate panted against Matthias’s chest, retying her swimsuit. What was she thinking? Had Fortuno not interrupted them, she’d have let Matthias have his way with her right in front of
the boys.
